In today’s special episode I have a special guest Cristino N. Chavez Jr., LMSW (He/Him). In this BHI episode, Cristino helps BHI listeners get a better understanding of the Social Worker and the many different avenues they can work in the behavioral health field, how they are similar to other health care professions, and how proper coordination of care looks like when working with a team of mental health professionals. Cristino also expresses what his biggest passions are in the behavioral health field as it comes to making improvements to the system and the importance of policies and procedures.
